Happy March 1st, the only spring month whose start doesn't have a silly holiday

It's March. Where has the time gone? I mean it, I feel like the rabbit in Alice and Wonderland, time is absolutely flying. March will go by even faster, I have two weeks to plan for spring break, and what my family fondly refers to as 'Stu Camp', otherwise known as any extended period of time spent with Stu. On top of that I have midterms to study for, which normally would not intimidate me in the slightest, but European style classes mandate otherwise. At BV I would have had assignments, quizzes, and tests turned in by now, but here your grade is base almost entirely on your midterm and final scores. I imagine a bit of studying will be in order. On this fine first morning in March I woke up ready to take another week by storm. My morning was very encouraging, as I recieved my confirmation emails for my flight and hostel, as well as fifteen others. I think my email was just not functioning properly last night. I actually worked on homework before I went to class, and had my cornflakes for lunch/breakfast. I remember halfway through the day that I needed to fast yet this week, so I'll be doing that tomorrow before I forget. I went to my opera class where we got our tickets for both the shows, I'm actually in a box for one, which is really exciting. We have excellent seats. A friend of mine and I were curious about the dress code, and the teacher said the italians would be dressed to the nines, but we could come in anything but a t shirt and jeans. I'll probalby wear the dress I bought for Stu's brothers wedding this summer, unless I find something I can't live without in Rome ;) Art Gallery Management was just as engaging as always, and is really exciting me for a career in the art world. After class I came home, planning on doing more homework, I have yet to accomplish this goal. Instead I've talked to my mother, and others from home, cooked myself some supper ( a little less successful tonight) and haven't done much else. I have a short article to read for my class tomorrow, but other than that I don't have anthing else to do for the week, besides catch up on reading for my opera class, and I'm half tempted to just research online. Catching up for that class is definitely my goal for this weekend. It's been a fairly uneventful day in the life of a study abroad, but if I spent every day exploring I would shut down from exhaustion, a mellow day every now and again is very much appreciated.
